US service center steel shipments fell for three consecutive months

At end-August steel inventory reached US metals service centers 9,185,000 short tons, an increase of 1.9% over the almost flat.August shipments of US service center is 3,316,000 short tons, down 8.9 percent year on year, a decline of 3.7%. Calculated in accordance with the number of supply days in late August steel inventory was 2.8 months supply, the end of July to 2.7 months supply. The end of August 2014 was 2.5 months supply.

2015 1--8 months total amount of US service center shipments of 27.242 million short tons, down 7%.
